Barrows Company is an international reference library for oil, gas, and mineral laws. Materials are in digital and/or printed format..

There are two main types of publications.

One type is the complete texts of laws and contracts (see Basic Oil Laws & Concession Contracts, World LNG Contracts, Mining Legislation, World Gas Law). These are indispensable for operations. Great care has been given to their compilation and translation.

The second type of publication is analytical. It contains summaries of oil/gas laws and contracts with analysis of their favorability to the international investor. Examples of these are: Petroleum Legislation for a review of legal requirements and International Taxation Series for a review of tax and fiscal requirements in all countries. Petroleum Concession Handbook summarizes oil contracts for exploration and production (E&P) in all countries.
